TELL Step 2:
Choose 3 artifacts/moments that represent your past (before college), your present (at college), and your (imagined) future (after college): Tell the story of these three moments in specific scenes with telling details.

Artifact 1:
A moment that represents my past before college is when I realized I wanted to be a psychologist. I came to this realization when I was in middle school after seeing what a positive impact a psychologist had on my close friend's life. My friend was a totally different person after seeking professional help and seeing her transformation first hand is what made me realized what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.

Artifact 2:
An artifact that represents my present is a painting that I got in the Dominican Republic. I have brought this painting each year to college with me and right now it is currently on my window frame. This paining takes me back to my junior year of high school when my class when on a two week mission trip to the Dominican Republic to help an inner city school through building, painting, remodeling, and teaching the children VBS. That was the most life changing experience I have had and I didn't realize how much of an impact it had on me until last semester. In my eyes, it has put life in a whole new perspective and has made me consider what is really important in this life, which has led to a new consideration for future plans.

Artifact 3:
An artifact that I imagine will represent my future is a macbook pro. After I graduate from grad school and obtain a master's in social work, I see myself doing a lot of work on my computer.
